hi there
Thought I would introduce you to 'Robbie' the Robin my singing robin.
I have had him for a few years now and he happily sings 3 Xmas songs all together.
Jingle Bells
Rodolph the Red Nosed Reindeer
,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,and the third song it will come back LOL
He needs batteries and is sound operated.
So he is now on his perch ready to sing once more.
Regards
Kathy and Dave
All the best Robbie, may you sing this year and next!
All the best to you Kathy & Dave
Regards Buzzard
Nature Is Amazing - Let Us Keep It That Way
That's a very frivolous tail he's got there! He looks really cute though. I expect he's glad to be out of his box and warbling away at you.
The necessity of bird-watching is a really good reason for avoiding all forms of housework.
The dust will still be there tomorrow - the birds may not be!
Hi Blackbird - have been out of action as we had to have a new computer so just catching up! Your birdie reminded me of a whistle we had some years ago you put water in it and blew through it and it sounded like a Robin singing our daughter would sit out in the garden for ages blowing it and the Robin would always call back! We have a Christmas Penguin that comes out each year and sits looking very festive but alas has no voice for a song!
Hi Blackbird-- Loved your robin, and I have one which is very similar. (a different colour etc.) Does yours 'sing' when you clap your hands? Mine does, so I keep it in the kitchen where it starts up whenever you bang a saucepan or a drawer- drives my relatives crazy!!
Oooh that's a lovely shot of your robin Blackbird, what do you feed it?
Now the colouring - very unusual, obviously not suffering with any leucism! ;-)

Got my robin out of his box, and he's brown! except for his red hat & his chest, which is strangely red & white in the wrong places. He sings the same songs, including "We Wish You a Merry Christmas", & he has a bit of greenery around his perch which is a bit different to yours. MERRY CHRISTMAS TO YOU !
My bit of seasonal frivolity is a green and red owl with a silly hat and crossed eyes, who sings Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree ... over, and over, and over again! He sits on the shelf in the kitchen and drives everyone mad, including the dogs, who join in the singing. Last year hubby kidnapped the batteries.
Cheers, Linda.

Come to think about it ... it does sound a bit like me after a bottle or 4 of wine, but I would fall off the kitchen shelf !!!
