Hi all, don't know about you but the one place I love to be near is the sea, the one place I can sit for hours just watching it, the one place I feel at piece with myself and contemplate life itself.
I am no Photographer but here are a few I have taken quiet recently. Feel free to put your sea pictures on here.
I thank you ;-)
You can almost smell it.

They are lovely pictures, Sarah. England, my England (D H Lawrence I think)
We certainly have some of the best scenery in the world for such a small Island.
I agree:)))
I've learned that I still have a lot to learn...

I hadn't many sea photos to add to this thread, one or two of beaches, but none as dramatic and wonderful as the photos on here. Now that Sarah has added a few brilliant photos of 'our green and pleasant land', here are a couple of where I live. The first is taken a couple of hundred yards up the lane from my house (my house is just out of the picture on the right). And the second is about a quarter of a mile away along the banks of the river Medway. I have promised Higgy that I will one day photograph the curlews I often see there. Well I think they are curlews, but when I have the photos, you all can probably confirm or otherwise. It's wonderful being surrounded by beautiful countryside and although I love the drama of the sea and am lost in wonder at it's power, like Sarah, for me the sea is a day visit. I prefer to live in the countryside where I find it more peaceful.
bye for now
