Hi all, don't know about you but the one place I love to be near is the sea, the one place I can sit for hours just watching it, the one place I feel at piece with myself and contemplate life itself.
I am no Photographer but here are a few I have taken quiet recently. Feel free to put your sea pictures on here.
I thank you ;-)
You can almost smell it.
Feed The Birds....not the cats!!!!
I know....my spelling's crap !!
Do you think the gulls know there's fish on board???
Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
I bet that was great fun! Where is Puffin Island?
This is indeed a great thread. Thanks to the OP for starting it and all those who have contributed along the way. It does feel special.

I'm delighted someone started a thread like this, though I didn't know it existed for a long time. I need to get some more photos to put on here.
Clare thankyou for the link to this thread I forgot it was here! I have looked at it briefly some time ago but hopefull might post some pics on here! But got a hard act to follow!
I rarely carry a wide-angle lens so have missed out on some opportunities to photograph lovely seascapes. I do like taking pics that freeze the motion of breaking waves though, because of the shapes and 'textures' the water forms.
And this one just makes me laugh :)

Aiki, I love your rolling wave and the bird frozen in action!
I think the picture will be greatly liked by June, June is forever telling us that she likes the sea. If I could shift "OHIO" nearer to the sea I would. lolololo
Aiki and Bob, your photos are just brilliant!
Hello, heres a pic of the raging sea near Dover! this ones for June as she loves the sea!
