Hi all, don't know about you but the one place I love to be near is the sea, the one place I can sit for hours just watching it, the one place I feel at piece with myself and contemplate life itself.
I am no Photographer but here are a few I have taken quiet recently. Feel free to put your sea pictures on here.
I thank you ;-)
You can almost smell it.
Feed The Birds....not the cats!!!!
I know....my spelling's crap !!
Thats a lovely scene, Sheena. thank you ;-)
I'll get my fix of the sea on Saturday. The Kids are staying at there aunties over the weekend, so me and my better half can have a nice slow walk on a beach somewhere along the Essex or Suffolk coast. Can't wait to breath that sea air and hopefully get a couple of pictures to post on here ;-)
Landgaurd point, Suffolks most southerly point.
Looks like you got that fix Robbo :0)
An optimist sees the beauty of the complete rose.A pessimist sees only the thorn .
Hi Sheena, yeah it was a lovely bit of fresh air and just what the Dr ordered lol.
I put a report here with some piccys http://www.rspb.org.uk/community/wildlife/f/1920/t/55046.aspx
Certainly worth a visit if any of you good folk are out that way.
Not above the sea, took these of the coast of Lanzarote.....
What a job to have....
Excellent shots, what type of ray was it ??
Fantastic pictures, Alan. The colours are just superb, worth waking up to;-)
I can't remeber now, but this ray would only visit the submarine tour when it wanted, so we was very lucky. We heard alot of people moan that they did not get to see it dance with the diver.
Must of been a great experience going in the Sub AND seing the ray.
I have marked this forum as "favorite" - my only favorite other than the one I use daily.
My husband said "the ocean is always the same, but always different". It has rolled in and out on a predictable schedule for past eons and will continue to do so into eternity. Yet day by day, hour by hour it changes color, waves change size & intensity, what can be seen on or in or over it, or on the beach in front of it changes unpredictably.
Yes, the ocean (or sea as I notice you call it) IS good for the soul!
