Merry Christmas to all.

Merry Christmas and best wishes for 2025. I suspect it will be quite an eventful year for a number of reasons.

I started cooking on Sunday - veg I could put in fridge or freezer. Continued on Tuesday cooking (pigs in blankets, gammon, etc) and prepping stuff (stuffing balls, etc). Started at 6:30am this morning, for an early lunch. Relaxing cook as so much prepped ahead of time. Warm up prepped food in microwave.

Food enjoyed by all. Nine different sorts of veg and fruit. Guinea fowl - not turkey - can't stand the stuff. Homemade pigs in blankets and stuffing balls. Enough food to feed us for a week. My sort of Christmas meal. Memsahib et al watching Swan Lake. I get to laze about now. Clean up and washing to be done by others.

Now, where's the Bailey's? I'm sure several large glasses have my name on them.

Happy Christmas Wendy, I was just thinking about you, have missed you posting, or maybe you have and I have still missed it!

Thanks CL, have been having a little break from posting but have been keeping up with the forum ... not feeding birds at present because of heavy influx of rats but letting lots of stuff grow a little wild and have blackbirds,  robins & wrens feeding naturally, so lovely to see and think there is a wren nest in a rather large climbing hydrangea! Still lots of Wood Pigeons in the trees at top of quarry!  Did catch sight of a kestrel, female, on telegraph pole a couple of days ago but flew away before we could capture any pics!
