Grey Herons Nesting In Redbeds!

Not well known but Herons can nest in reedbeds as was the case at Minsmere in the 1970’s with a small Heronry and at present there was a Heronry breeding/nesting as well in reedbeds in 2022’. Whether that’s still the case I don’t know. Herons have also been known to nest on cliffs!
