Does anyone know if the reserves have Christmas activities for children. I have 6 grandchildren and I am keen to introduce them to birds in a fun way.
Hello Philip, Without knowing your location I would search via the web the rspb reserves in your area as each (staffed) main reserves will list the various events they have programmed. THIS LINK will give a starting point.

Some reserves do have activities all year through, apart from Christmas Day, Christmas and school holidays are no exception. As Hazy says, without knowing your location, it's hard to be more specific, so give the link HAZY supplied a try.
Also many Wildlife Trusts have events on the same basis, and worth having a look at the click HERE for the Wildlife Trusts page.

Thanks The location will be Yorkshire so I will look at Fairburn inns, Blacktoff Sands etc, also I think Yorkshire wildlife trusts have several reserves so as Mike suggests I will check them out.
