This is an archive report about the first comprehensive wildlife laws in the UK and it was the the 1954 Protection of Birds Act and this was a report  on that first comprehensive legal protection of any wildfire in the UK. Before that first legal protection of any wildlife in 1954. Anyone could take any birds eggs and also kill any wild bird legally at any time of the year. Other wildlife laws protecting other wildlife in the UK would follow later. This report was published on the 1st December 1954.
