Hi everyone,
I'm hoping someone may be able to identify the bird below please. I suspect it's a long-tailed tit, but not 100% sure. Spotted it on my feeders while doing the Big Garden Birdwatch. In all my years of feeding birds, it's the first time I've had a visit from one of these.
Apologies for the poor photo - the light was starting to fade and I grabbed the shot through a window.
Thanks in advance.
It is a Long-tailed Tit. The cutest of garden visitors. Often in a little gang.
Long Tailed Tits are nearly always seen in groups. Also Long Tailed Tits suddenly disappear in groups. I’ve seen groups of more than 10 Long Tailed Tits together. Below from the RSPB website!
Regards,
Ian.
