No it's not wandering around with a caddy and a 9 iron-
I nicked the term off the Americans -
I decided there were 9 species I wanted to see for the year list so I visited 3 local sites fairly close to each other
-Started at Lynford Arboretum- looped around Welney fields and finished at Denver Sluice
Missed 1 of the 9- saw no Hawfinches: But extra bonuses included
