A belated Happy New Year to all.
After what was another good year, under somewhat challenging weather conditions for many of us, the thread certainly delivered some fabulous photos, so to kickstart 2024 off, I managed, (only just though) to get my first sunrise of 2024.
For those who want to look back here's the link for "Sunrises and Sunsets 2023: Share your photos here...."

and to try and put a bit of sparkle, using the Star 6 filter.

Lovely.
If only the day time sky was nice too
I gotta share a sunrise with the new RF 24-240 lens here....
Now, the new RF 24-240 lens, and what better to start with, a very radiant sunrise
The colours were that spectacular, the sunrise cast a nice glow on the garden...
That's all for now, but as August nears it's end, after the bank holiday those sunrise and sunset times will start getting closer together.
Glad you posted yours Mike, reminded me a phone snapped one on the way to work last week. Shame I could find anywhere to stop 2 minutes earlier, the oranges were all pinks

That's a shame, though the posted photo is just as dramatic and worthy of posting.
The day started with a nice twilight
Followed by a nice sunrise....
Just arrived this afternoon in Norfolk (Titchwell) and from the rental house we were treated to a beautiful sunset; only quick pics before we missed it !! In the harvested field behind us I could spot lots of gulls, pink footed geese and even curlews ! Absolute bliss :)

That looks beautiful Hazel.
Picturesque sunrises and sunsets can be over within a matter of seconds, so those were timed perfectly.
Enjoy Titchwell, we look forward to the photos and report(s)
