I know most of you on this forum will have heard a Bittern Boom . But there are quite a lot of birdwatchers in my local RSPB Group who’ve never heard a Bittern boom before. So here is a link of a booming at Minsmere with a recording of a Bittern booming in the link above from a short video by one of the volunteers at Minsmere.

Ian, the link isn't working.
I was only looking to see if the page added that the bittern boom is usually heard in spring, also it is only the male bittern that make the call.

it is now working Mike! It is from earlier this year ii guess. But it has just been posted on Minsmere’s Facebook website. As part of the daily advent to Christmas!
That's better.
It's nice to know I'm still blocked from using FB, until, I provide details that I'm not a bot etc......
I sent if from the Facebook app. Then I noticed it wasn’t working from the Facebook app. The link I sent was correct from the app, but didn’t work. So I had to post another link from the Facebook website on my browser which worked.. The link from the app worked in sending to my close friend by email, messenger.
