This film from one of the news channel is from Loch Garten in 1972 and an interview with a very young Roy Dennis of whose position at that time was the Highlands of Scotland regional officer for the RSPB. As all of the all the rgional offices in the UK at that time had someone with that title. Except for the whole of Scotland where there was a position of the Scottish Director of the RSPB. Even in 1972 the population of nesting/breeding Ospreys was still very low and still only nesting/breeding in Scotland at that time. When George Wateston retired as the Scottish Director of the RSPB in 1972. Frank Dennis Hamilton who was the assistant to George Wateston took over that same position in 1972.
