Gosforth Park Reserve

With most local buses in North East England on an indefinite strike right now. It has been very difficult getting anywhere to or from in the Newcastle Upon Tyne at this present moment. For example I normally get a very fast bus service from Newcastle down to Middlesbrough which just takes around 1 hour 10 minute. But that was impossible to use as is the case with most local bus services.  So I had to look at the other bus companies that have nowhere  the number of bus services as those on strike, But I did manage to find another bus company from Newcastle-Middlesbrough and then a connection to Saltholme. The bus I used on the Saturday just gone to Middlesbrough took 2 hours 45 minute to Middlesbrough. So arrived late compared to using the usual bus. But had a nice today. And there were local buses from Newcastle to Gosforth Park Reserve today, in which I’ve been today by bus.

If you’ve never heard of Gosforth Park Reserve. It’s a reserve that is run by theNatural History Society of Northumbria a few miles outside the city of Newcastle Upon Tyne. Above are two videos that the Natural History Society have made showing and talking about Gosforth Park Reserve.
