No Autumnwatch this year

However, Chris Packham and Megan McCubbin are rolling their own. To be shown via Youtube.

This was known as far back as February 2023! And BBC Winterwatch broadcast at the end of January 2024 will be reduced to only one week. The reason are because of all cuts in general at the BBC over last 10 years. The live webcams used to be 24 hours a day and night during Springwatch, Autumnwatch and Winterwatch but over the last 5-6 those live webcams have been slowly reduced in ,eighth until the webcams in Springwatch 2023 where only broadcast between 12.00pn-10.00pm. Remember that live 30 minute programme behind the Red Button after the main Springwatch series that stopped broadcasting around 5 years ago. The signs where that this would happen. It’s happened much later than I thought.

    Regards,

    Ian.
