Sorry about that. It has been edited! It explains why from that one pair of Snowy Owls why the Snowy Owls never expanded to a much larger population. There may have been more Snowy Owls nesting at that time, but nothing was ever confirmed.. There have been reports since then about possible nesting/breeding Snowy Owls as also reports from some from my Local RSPB Group there could be nesting, but who knows!
