Strong words from RSPB England

  • The massive irony is that if senior staff leave the RSPB over this, it'll be because they did something that had loads of public support and that loads of members applauded. I'll confess I was gobsmacked when I first saw that Twitter post - but they instantly had my attention and my 100% support of their position.

Our herring gulls are red listed birds.  Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.

  • It turns out Caldecott is part of the infamous 55 tufton st gang.

  • nope, imagine a dark group of people in the shadows influencing government policy
  • Nothing against Oxford, but it doesn't half crop up a lot these days! The new 'energy and net zero.......yes, net zero secretary' and former advisor to the PM went there. Nothing political about this post. Simply pure coincidence that I'm highlighting.
  • Yep nothing political about this post too.
Just showing two people working together a Mr Gove starting a think tank called policy exchange and a certain trustee being a director of said think tank.
  • I'm supposed to be welcoming someone back home (waiting for the I'm ready phonecall), not sitting here reading all the exciting posts.....

My youngest sent me the link this morning, though I'll refrain from sharing for the time being, but it is still live, as of 14:35 today.

    regards

  • I should have spoken to my career's advisor at school and said, "when I grow up, I want to be a political advisor". Certainly got good career progression......
