Strong words from RSPB England

They've been got at, they've issued an apology.

How completely gutless. They are liars, and they've been lying to us all for years! I'm so disappointed.

I am as well. Maybe the next General Election will change thing. But whatever happens both of the majoe political parties seem to be offering no difference. Which makes me feel so disappointed!.

I might have mentioned this before - Therese Coffey is my MP. Poor old Gardenbirder (haven't seen her for a while) has Michael Gove as hers.

I will be voting against Caldecott's appointment at the next council election. He wrote a high profile criticism about the twitter posting.

I will also add that I agree with one of his points. It is essential that charities, incl this one, are impartial in terms of party political allegiance and don't take sides at elections etc.....lies are told by liars whichever party they serve, so any Gov that lies about its environmental policies, or lack of, should continue to be called out as liars IMO....

He is getting slaughtered on Twitter which I know isn't scientific but it's good to read lol.
Regarding the RSPB tweets if I had put something up that I felt the need to apologise for I would have taken the offending one down, the original ones are still there for all to see so good on the RSPB.

It is very much down to individual circumstances......but I wouldn't be surprised if resignations occurred over the next week or so. It's hard to imagine all of the council agree with Caldecott's response. It's also hard to imagine Chief Exec and next tier agree with him or the subsequent response.....
