Lots of threads lately about young birds dying in there nests!

I’ve noticed lately lots of threads about young wild birds dying in their nests and those starting thread here are so upset. Young wild birds in there nests die every year. It happens every year.I’m afraid.that is nature. I never get upset as I accept and I’ll repeat again I’m always being very pragmatic about nature and wildlife conservation. For those that get upset about this, it happens every year. And I just accept that. Unless someone has broken the law in wildlife, then action has to be taken. Wildlife Conservation management is the same. But I won’t start on that again at present on that again! I’m just starting this thread as there seem to be a lot more threads with upset individuals about dying young wild birds in there nests. I’ve started this thread as there seem to be a lots more threads than usual on this subject  in recent weeks and moths and even more than in previous years than . Young wild birds have always died every year and always will! That is nature I’m afraid!

Regards,

Ian.

The availability of nestcams have made more people aware of the predation/failures that can and do occur.

I know someone who had to take down a box fitted with a nestcam because a partner couldn't accept some outcomes.

Wildlife law is breached and the diffuclty in obtaining evidence is such that many cases never jump the hurdle of getting to court. And when they do, minimal sentances are imposed.
