For anyone who've never seen a Long Tailed Duck. Some information here. I've seen Long Tailed Duck’s every winter looking out to sea. It was a bad day for birdwatching on arrival. Very misty and drizzle. Around 12.00pm the low lying mist cleared. But very low lying cloud. But a good out birdwatching. In March our next coach trip in March up to Kielder and a guided walk to some of the remoter oarts of Kielder to try to see Goshawks and other wildlife. Also Kielder has the largest mainland pooulation of Red Squirrels in England. Although I'm lucky by living in North East Englsnd and i see Red Squirrels every year in this area!

Ian.
