As the title states:
"The house sparrows are getting busy again in next doors eaves!"
Mr HS doing his bit
I just wish they would sweep up after themselves, dropping the twigs and grass on our patio!
I'll see if I can get a piccie or two of them going into the eaves. I think a video is a little to far from a location perspective

Thank you Hazel, they are very busy, and lots of down feathers also going up. But the sun is at the wrong angle to capture that.
Interestingly, the feather collection seems to occur around 07:45-08:05, just as the morning sun is shining right at me!
But I'm watching and waiting.....

Thank you Zo.
The house sparrows are around 2-3 mtrs away from the kitchen window, so it enables good close shots.
More from the house sparrows.....
Pssst; Guys, there's plenty of grass, and moss, so help yourselves, it needs trimming....
Amazing how much they can carry in those tiny beaks! Great closeups Mike.
Beachwalker - My favourite occupation as I love exploring my home county and photographing its beauty.
Update, I'm not sure if I'll be able to get any photos of the house sparrows going into the eaves, the young family the other side have randomly chopped down the shrubs. So I have no privacy, neither do they, and with pre-school aged children, someone is in the house all day.
No nests have been disturbed, not that any bird would nest in the shrubs, they're too low and too much close by activity for that. But they did use the shrubs to access the feeders, and collect nesting material. So they now use my garage roof to check the coast is clear and dart down to the feeder.
Thats ok. There still very photos. If your lucky you might get the chance you never know but if you don’t then think of it this way at least you managed to get some pictures of them collecting nesting material.

After seeing a heron a couple of years back carrying a very think branch much bigger than itself, nothing would surprise me. Nature is very fascinating.
The link below takes to to a photo taken on the same day, but sadly I missed the opportunity to get the big thick branch...
