Just because there's way too much great photography on this site...!
You know the feeling. You only got one or a few photos of it and they're not very good, but you can't bear to throw the photos away because they're all you have of that particular species. So you keep them, just until you get better ones :) We've managed to 'upgrade' some of the species below since these bad pics were taken, but not all...
Please join in! I can't be the only one who hordes terrible wildlife photos :)
Collared Flycatcher
Otter
Peregrine
and best (worst) of all, Nightjar!

Had another lovely day at Old Moor today. Unfortunately, everywhere I looked there were headless birds...
Headless Greenfinch
Headless Woody
Headless Magpie
Headless Swan
Keep practising Ian!
And to cap it all I've posted in the wrong thread! Bad day at the office all round :(

Was happy to see one Kingfisher on the spot close to my place again. There's probably one male and one female but there I never saw them together, so far.
This one was rather hectic today, and had no sense for getting photographed, so here only a poor record shot, alright for this thread, I hope. :-)
Wow remarkable findings, Tony - especially the wall creeper -really rare, only saw in my bird book so far. Congrats and good luck for seeing (& photographing) it again!
