Are my (non RSPB) nest boxes big enough?

A while back I put up two nesting boxes bought from a large DIY store. They are 20cm tall by 10cm wide and 12cm deep from the wall; one open fronted for a robin and one with a 25cm entrance hole for coal tit or finch. However, the sparrow box I got from RSPB is considerably larger all over and I wonder if the others are just too small to accommodate a nest?

My head is not in gear today and I still use feet and inches, but am I wrong in saying a 25cm hole will be larger then the width of the box Kirpi? did you mean 25millimetre.
