Yes, lovely photos TJ & Pintails are one of my favourite ducks.
We saw some really close once on the local marshes & got some great photos. We put them on the local wildlife site & it was pointed out that their wings had been clipped & they couldn't fly, which was why they appeared to be so tame. They were lures for the real thing. It made me feel so sad & I deleted the photos.
I love the eye on the Ferruginous.

Yet more brilliant photos folks.
Sadly the weather here has been dull, no, make that 'orrible. Its been cloudy or overcast for over a month now, so getting half decent photos is quite a battle.
However, the light and angle of light was just right for this poll reflection on Saturday5 th Jan 2019, but still no sun.
