Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.

It is an interesting piece of driftwood, Wendy I was sat down at my favourite spot taking pictures of all the small birds coming in to bathe and have a drink of fresh water.Jim

Thanks Jim, we did use the P&D opposite the castle, but I cannot walk for any great distance, so didn't go up into the village.
