Old thread here: http://www.rspb.org.uk/community/chat/f/2542/t/22684.aspx
Because the original thread has, fittingly enough, 'gone bad', it's time for a new 'Bad pics' thread. Here, we celebrate the very worst of our wildlife photography. The subject matter is always brilliant, but the photos are very much not. If it's out of focus, chopped in half, frighteningly under- or over-exposed or terrible in some other way, it belongs here :)
Here's my first (first of many, no doubt) contribution to the new thread, a Goldcrest taken at Barnes yesterday. You need only minor incompetence to take a blurry photo, and the same to take a really under-exposed photo, but to do both in one go requires a special level of cackhandedness.

I love this thread as i fit right into it!
Yesterday when i was going into Hobbie Craft I was surprised to see a whole flock of starlings sitting on the spikes ment to keep birds off... when i got back to the car i only then realised how big a flock it was, it covered right across a few shops signs and any other ledges they could get on! tried taking a couple of photos but there not great lol!
No idea how many there was but i'd say it was a massive flock :)
Well spotted (much like the pavement below!).

Ho, ho, Lucy! That is about like the pics I take! Hubby always says 'You won't be able to see that! It will be speck!'
Kind regards, Ann
These are the photos that i am best at lol! I say look its starlings! - everyone else see's a small speck in the distance lol! The others i get is a blur and only bits of birds lol! for every 1000 photos i get the odd good-ish one lol
This weekend using my phone (yes should have tried to find my camera...) My wee sparrow was singing his heart out in the garden, tried my best to get a photo of him on my phone, didn't turn out too badly but still not nearly the quality i would have got with my camera.
Chubbs the cleaner just allowed me this photograph and disappeared before icould get a decent one!
