Old thread here: http://www.rspb.org.uk/community/chat/f/2542/t/22684.aspx
Because the original thread has, fittingly enough, 'gone bad', it's time for a new 'Bad pics' thread. Here, we celebrate the very worst of our wildlife photography. The subject matter is always brilliant, but the photos are very much not. If it's out of focus, chopped in half, frighteningly under- or over-exposed or terrible in some other way, it belongs here :)
Here's my first (first of many, no doubt) contribution to the new thread, a Goldcrest taken at Barnes yesterday. You need only minor incompetence to take a blurry photo, and the same to take a really under-exposed photo, but to do both in one go requires a special level of cackhandedness.
One that wasn't going to come out into the open fully, a snipe from a recent visit to Brandon Marsh
Hunchback Greenfinch lol
Post edit...it is actually a goldfinch that's sitting behind the greenfinch...just incase it's not obvious lol
How I wish that bloody post hadn't been in the way:
On a recent visit to RSPB Conwy, a headless Carneddau Pony to start with!
What is this?
Is it a penguin, or a Dr Who Monster!
Lots of bad ones today lol
Since the tone is very much in danger of being raised in this thread, allow me both to bring things down to earth and present you with my latest ID challenge ...
A wild guess, great white egret,
Long dark legs, orange/yellow bill and lots of white plumage.
But then I could very easily be wrong, but I'll have a go.
