Old thread here: http://www.rspb.org.uk/community/chat/f/2542/t/22684.aspx
Because the original thread has, fittingly enough, 'gone bad', it's time for a new 'Bad pics' thread. Here, we celebrate the very worst of our wildlife photography. The subject matter is always brilliant, but the photos are very much not. If it's out of focus, chopped in half, frighteningly under- or over-exposed or terrible in some other way, it belongs here :)
Here's my first (first of many, no doubt) contribution to the new thread, a Goldcrest taken at Barnes yesterday. You need only minor incompetence to take a blurry photo, and the same to take a really under-exposed photo, but to do both in one go requires a special level of cackhandedness.

what do you mean you can't see the little egret ? !
to be honest, I don't mind the wing blur on this one as the head/eye is 99% in focus !
there is a Green Woodpecker in this next one ...................honestly !!
Kind regards, Ann
Thanks Ann,

We are staying in Kettering so nipped 9 miles down the road to Stanwick Lakes in Nene Valley (ex gravel pits area and now a vast series of lakes) Huge nature/park area and geared for family's too.
Unknown said:Will you go back to Stanwick Lakes tomorrow, etc., or will you look for somewhere else for the rest of your time away?
It was only a 2 night stay and heading back to Cheshire tomorrow; we may look for somewhere to call in on our return but weather looks a bit iffy with rain on forecast so will play it by ear !
I think next time I visit Lackford Lakes I will carry some secateurs, too many small twigs on Hawthorn bushes.
