'Watch out there's an eagle owl about in Wiltshire'

Blimey, I hope they find it before some idiot decides to shoot it. I've just googled some pictures. Pretty impressive looking bird.

They are suggesting that pet owners should keep their eyes on their small cats or dogs, although it probably won't pose any risk to small children!

She's called 'Megan', so that means she could be a pretty big girl

I might not need the zoom lens then!  I don't supose she will come this far south but you never know...

I have to say that the story is interesting, and Megan sounds a beautiful girl.

Years ago I saw a Eagle Owl in captivity (Edinburgh Zoo) and heard all about the history of this bird.  I cannot believe how large they are. They are beautiful birds.

Hope that the story mentioned eating peoples pets, and possibily children has not scared half the population to death

Sometimes, reporters who write these stories need a 0 out of 10 as they do no justice for the safety of the bird.
