Hello Folks! It's time to go underwater and explore the wonderful world of UK fish. Some are spotty, some have stripes. Some prefer lakes, others prefer streams. Prepare to get your feet wet and get your fins in a flap! Each Monday for 12 weeks I will be posting a little teaser for you. Without looking in books or on the internet (i.e - no cheating), see if you can identify the UK fish On Wednesday, so as long as no-one has guessed it, I will post one clue. On Friday I will post the answer along with some additional information for your interest.MYSTERY FISH QUIZ #6Clue: A pub in Binsey.
What a small world, I have actually been in this pub a few years ago when on courses with HMP at Kidlington in Oxfordshire, I will not spoil it for others by giving the answer so soon.

Only been to Binsey once many years ago,we went into a pub called the Perch simply because of its fishy name.
Pete
Birding is for everyone no matter how good or bad we are at it,enjoy it while you can
Thats the one Pete, nice thatched pub with a nice garden and a path leading to the River Thames.
Pete did you try "The Trout" in Wolvercote, another nice place and even closer to the river, right beside it actually?
Shane does this mean we have a choice of "fishy" pubs in the area, all very confusing for an old northerner like me LOL
lol we got shown all around the local pubs by the HMP Instructors, The Trout was by far my favourite one, stunning view when the water level was high.
But according to Shane we may have the choice of two pubs, bit far for me to go to have a pub crawl, besides all the latest run of tablets say "do not mix with alcohol" LOL
Sticking with Perch until MrsT gives us more clues.
Clue tomorrow.

Shane said:] Pete I'm with you on "The Perch" I was just wondering if you had gone in "The Trout" when you were down south and visited "The Perch".
Afraid we were missing the northern beer too much LOL but it was a lovely area.
