Was wondering about a new thread with a bit of a crossword clue type quiz which would all have bird answers (or even wildlife, come to that) ........... and we could all add to it as we thought of new clues/answers ..........for example ...........
"Joker, telling miss-spelt stories"
Anyone want to guess the answer ?? ..... and I hope this isn't too easy !

Nite TJ! Thanks for the fun too! :)
Thanks all, hope u all slept well and it looks like another bitter cold morning with birds eager for breakfast and the cheese pastry waiting in the fridge ! Will be back with a few more clues later if anyone still wants to play LOL
Morning Hazy. Sounds like the birds are in for a treat. They probably will have a better breakfast than me.
It's bitterly cold here as well with freezing fog. I think it might be a while before the sun breaks through. My two Fieldfares are back eating some bits of chopped apples that I put out.
Hi T.J. It's 9.30am and I still haven't had my own breakfast yet lol; took me 30 mins to top up feeders, place some cheese pastry and fat cake in the tree (hoping Treecreeeper comes back ! ) and moving spare bird table with peanut hanger for GSW as he was around early this morning, along with a small flock of chaffinch - yeahhhh ! hope they make a regular appearance, the Chaffinch seem to be building up slowly after only normally seeing two regulars, must be this cold snap bringing them in for food. Having said that, Blackbirds (mafia of 5 or 6) have been rather bossy and territorial lunging at any bird that comes to the ground for feeding so the Chaffies don't stick around long ! Glad to hear your Fieldfares are back and enjoying their apple treat :)
