I voted for dog rose. I recognized the picture immediately as a flower we call Wild Rose here in Ohio.
Mrs T, I am praying for you for a comfortable hospital and rapid recovery.
Yes all the best MrsT
Please don't come back with a quiz on ailments and treatment lol
Seriously hope all goes well

a good laugh is better than a tonic
Thanks for your prayers and thoughts June & Ray. My condition for which I am having an op is still poorly understood so perhaps a quiz on it might help :) (I jest, of course. Don't worry it is most likely to be on Fungi instead!
That's me stuffed then :) garlic, cheese and breadcrumbs

Garlic mushrooms... nom, nom.
Thank you for your kind words BW.
I voted for the Dog Rose, mainly because it reminds me of the time shortly after we moved here ,,Mrs Grandpaddy had me cutting, pulling, tugging, trimming, and removing brambles ,briers, old and dead bushes from the 150 yds of hedgerow leading down the drive to the gates, this left me scarred for life!! cut, scratched, bruised, and a sore back LOL, but it was well worth it in the end ,we now get a fantastic show of Dog Roses every June.
that is a photo of a small section of the hedgerow.
Regards Mick
Work is for those people that don't Bird-watch!!!!
... and the winner is - Dog rose!
@ Mick - thanks for posting the pic, those strawberries look like they are doing ok too!
Next quiz will be on Fungi, so you've got a few weeks to study. Fingers crossed your quiz master will be back at the end of November firing on all 4 cylinders, so you've been warned :)
Souds like we are going to have FUN GUYS
Yes, there won't be mush room for error in your Fungi quiz answers!
