Each Monday for 12 weeks, I will be posting a little teaser for you. Without looking in books or on the internet (i.e - no cheating), see if you can identify the insect. On Wednesday, so as long as no-one has guessed it, I will post one clue. Well, the only 'stone' that I can think of that used in jewellery and isn't lustrous is Malachite, so I'm going to suggest a Malachite beetle?

Goodness me! I've no idea!! I'm sticking with my choice although I can make no link with this clue, other than the green bit! Lol!

Aint the faintest who young Robert is But Emeralds are green so up to now sticking with Small Emerald.
