Hello Folks,Here's something for all you fans of our feathered friends. Each friday for 12 weeks, I will be posting a little teaser for you. Without looking in books or on the internet (i.e - no cheating), see if you can identify this bird. The following Monday, so as long as no-one has guessed it, I will post one clue. The day after I will post the answer along with some additional information for your interest. Here goes ....MYSTERY BIRD #8Eventually my narrow pins might flag.
Can we have a clue which requires knowledge of birds only not knowledge of lots of other things as well, and yes of birds which have visited Britain even if only once in a while?

complete guess. Was it a Little egret. I know they were seen there now and then well before they arrived everywhere, but no idea if they were recorded that far back
Collared Dove?
Quite a nice bird so why you have to call it a regular breeder I don't know!!
Get your thinking caps on folks! The next mystery bird quiz will be posted tomorrow as per usual.
As my Grandson A.J would say "bring it on " LOL
