Hi everyone!
Let me introduce myself. I'm Paul, I was lurking for a while, joined then carried on lurking for a while but now getting stuck in!
I've enjoyed reading through various threads - its definately a place to turn to if stuck with anything!
Have to say I'm not very good with introductions so if there's anything you want to know just ask away, lol!
Paul
Hello Paul
Enjoy yourself here {smile}
I am sure that we will support each other as bird lovers do.

Hello Paul E,
Welcome to the site, I'm new too so can understand the lurking bit :-) It's really good on here, there are some really professional photograhers, have a look through the threads and you will see. There's a really good one called sunsets & clouds. Unfortunately I only have a basic digital camera & don't drive, I have to rely on my partner to take me away to places where public transport doesn't reach. But at the end of the day we are all equal, we are all here because we love wildlife.
Hi Paul and welcome from me too. I am sure you will enjoy it here as there is a lot to chat about and many people who can help you out with any queries / problems etc. So, abandon lurking and get stuck in! I am looking forward to reading your posts.
The necessity of bird-watching is a really good reason for avoiding all forms of housework.
The dust will still be there tomorrow - the birds may not be!
Hello Paul,
Seasons Greetings & welcome to Communities. I am sure as time progresses you will find and meet lots of like-minded people. The Communities website is a great place to learn new stuff too, so feel free to share your thoughts and suggestions, everyone here is happy to help and learn stuff as well.
I do hope you enjoy Communities and we all hope to hear from you again soon.
Warm welcome from me too - hope you enjoy it on here. It's a friendly place so no need to be shy! As you will get to know more members, you will learn there are many that are very knowledgeable, many fantastic photographers and others like me, learning, chatting and in my case posting bad photos of the bird I haven't a clue about!!! We all have one thing in common tho and that's we love our birds, wildlife and all things nature.

Hi Paul,
Welcome also from me. I'm another fairly new lurker and have learnt so much already. I'm also one who should never be allowed behind a camera, but people are so friendly they don't seem to mind my awful pictures, or perhaps it is just because they have such a great sense of humour. Enjoy ...
Cheers, Linda.

Thank you for your warm welcomes :o)
I've been enjoying looking around and having a good read, everyone seems so nice and helpful! I have found in the past if I've turned to a birding forums for advice it has gone unanswered, but I can see it would be different here.
I haven't made it over the the galleries part to have a good look but have posted a few photos myself as I enjoy taking photos of our garden birds.
Hi Paul, just had a look at your photos and wow! They are all brilliant but the photo of the sparrowhawk is outstanding. Thanks for sharing those with us.
