Hi.. we have a blue tit nesting in a small traffic cone type cone down in our filed. I’m concerned that they won’t be able to fledge as this will involve them having to get up to through the hole at the top. I can’t really see how the situation could be helped without exposing or moving them ?
Should be fine. Blue tits often have vertical entrances, e.g. inside external light fittings etc.
