Great photos, and welcome to the forum.
Great macro shots. Do you use flash with your macro shots or just natural light?
Hi Wendy, thats OK, no need to apologise we all have other lives going on , things to do etc , Yes, I have absolutely loads , about 98% of them taken just in the garden , although we have recently moved now, so there is a new garden to explore this spring and summer , My macro pics could be better tbh, I’m still learning all the time.
Thank you, very occasionally I will use a flash, but I much prefer to use natural light, my Ipad does have a very basic photo editing tool so I can just tweak the exposure and brightness up a bit if I need to, natural light gives a much sharper detailed image I find, the second image I posted was done with a flash and defuser because dusk had well set in, but I think it washed it out a bit, I tried tweaking the exposure and brightness down a touch but I lost too much definition and colour and it just looked worse, so I just left it as it was in the end.
Excellent Coldeb. I enjoy macro myself. Crawling round the garden or bringing tiny things in the kitchen to photograph. Like you I prefer to use natural light if possible. There's a whole new world to be discovered in macro ... . As for your posting problems, we're all struggling with the new upgrade at the moment ...

They look pretty good to me!
Many thanks Billy, it’s amazing just how much wildlife is just in the garden isn’t it. I’m fascinated by how small some very intricate detail can be once you see it up close, it doesn’t seem possible sometimes, can you imagine how thin those tiny hairs must be at its back end? , and the cells that produced them, they’re like tiny fibre optic cables…..I’m sure they’ll get around to fixing the posting problems soon, now they know there have been some difficulties.
Just call me BD ... everyone else does ...
