I'll post a fledging video of this on Sunday.
Four chicks fledged just after 1am, which I understand is most unusual. The three remaining chicks fledged at around 6am with their parents helping.
I've looked at the nest box footage and it looks like one of them was in a panic and scaring the others. No preditor got into the box, but it was almost that one had and there was panic that I haven't seen before.
With a bit of luck they're all ok.

Here's the conclusion of our blue tits nest box adventure this year. After having none of our boxes used last year, one of the boxes was used this year by an amazing pair of blue tits. They worked like trojans throughout and have given life to 7 chicks. We've seen at least one of the parents in the garden since fledge, so hopefully we'll see the chicks soon. Good luck for a good life young chicks!
Any suggestions of why some chicks left the nest at 1am would be welcome.

Great viewing, thanks for sharing Billy, so good to have news of successful BT fledglings after so many tragedies other folk have posted about!
How lovely that all the chicks fledged, thanks for allowing us to follow their progress. Hopefully it will not be too long before you see them on the feeders. Keep safe little ones.
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
All the chicks fledged. Can only hope that the ones that fledged in the middle of the night are ok.
Here's a video I shot two days post fledge.
