Hello,
I'm new here and thought you might like to see this sort of thing?
I made a feeder for the squirrel that visits our garden and this happened...
I have bird feeders too

Hi TeeJay, That was the only Jackdaw of about 6 that worked out how to get the peanuts. It took around 30mins. The squirrel gave up on it and went for an easier option.
Another brilliant video clip FM, made me laugh out loud and smile seeing that cheeky squirrel in the VW !!
Brilliant clip.
Nature can be very intuitive when it wants to be, particularly where food is concerned.

Hi Kiwiriauk, thanks for the comments.
I'm pretty sure it's a jackdaw? but I'm no expert. They seem quite common here in Scotland.
They are really clever and good at watching the squirrel failing to work out the puzzle feeders I make,
and then swooping in after it's gone
and winning a peanut.
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
