For my birthday earlier this week my wife got me a copy of the RSPB British Birds of Prey book by Marianne Taylor,A fascinating book and loads of great pictures of my favourite group of birds and lots of interesting articles. No doubt this will occupy a lot of my time on winter evenings when there is little of interest to me on the telly.

Birding is for everyone no matter how good or bad we are at it,enjoy it while you can
I got this book for Christmas from one of my youngens, and as you say it is an excellent book with lovely photo's and a good bit of info on the birds. Well worth getting hold of a copy.
Feed The Birds....not the cats!!!!

Well done!!!!!! Our lovely Aiki.
It's a beautiful book.
If only I could get her to sign my copy ;-)
That explains why it is so good, thanks for the info.
I treated myself to a copy last Christmas. It's a terrific read, full of fascinating information. The photographs by Stig Frode Olsen are amazing and something I can only aspire to but will never achieve.
Yes indeed the talented aiki.

I keep dipping into this book both for information and just general interest and I am even more impressed now than when I first got it,there must have been masses of research done for the book and the choice of photos is top notch.I would recommend any raptor buffs putting it on their Christmas wish list if they can wait that long.
