early spring nectar

Hi everyone. I've been looking at all those lovely insect pictures you've been taking and the interest in bees! Its great finding plants these little beauties love to get nectar from and Grey willow is one of the best to give them a good start in spring - every garden should have one!

They are easy to manage too and you can keep them as a reasonably small shrub by cutting them right back almost to the ground every 3 to 5 years!
