Do check out BBC Gardeners' World tonight, where the wonderful 'Wildlife Friendly', who is always contributing to this blog and the RSPB forums, will be visited in her Devon garden by none other than Carol Klein to see all the wildlife she manages to support. Bravo!

  • Hear hear, Taffy2. I think we need to start lobbying the Beeb!

  • Yes, I did see it...fabulous!! What a garden! Please can 'Wildlife Friendly' have a TV series of her own?! If only everyone would/could do something similar, just think how much it would help our wildlife.

We try hard to get as much wildlife as we can in our small patch, but are limited by factors we can't control, not the least of which are a minimum of 6 cats patrolling the boundary, so only things that can fly stand any chance of getting here!!!

I'm pleased that Gardener's World is becoming more wildlife friendly, let's hope the days of following 'the trends' in gardening have gone.. no more Chelsea fads please!
