Currently doing some design work with regard to nesting boxes for sparrow colonies. Was hoping for any advice on how to support sparrow colonies that would supplement my own research, with a particular focus on whether tree sparrows would nest in boxes against a wall and if house sparrows would take up boxes exposed on trees; and how close boxes for individual pairs should be. Any advice appreciated. : )
