We have a young pigeon hanging around the terrace and doesn’t look like it’s able to fly yet. It’s not injured it just slowly walks around then settles die a while. Reviewing websites I’ve put sugar/salt water in a small bowl outside and some peas/seed in case but it’s not interested. I did see a large pigeon come down briefly and they interacted briefly but flew off within seconds and I’m just concerned leaving it overnight in case the foxes are around. Any advice welcome!
I have a similar situation. A pigeon has been hanging about in front of the house for a few days. It doesn't fly away when approached, but seems to disappear from view now and again so must be hiding in the bushes. I was wondering what to do as well.
A young (?) pigeon appeared on top of the greenhouse this morning and has stayed there since. An adult seems to be tucked into a tree close by most of the time. I hope it is able to fly away soon. Sparrowhawks visit the garden regularly and this looks rather vulnerable.
