We have a bird box with great tits nesting. The chicks hatched 9th May (started seeing parents feeding chicks). They are about due to fledge but tonight the male great tit flew into our patio door and died. The female doesn't feed the chick's anywhere near as much as the male and you can hear chick's calling with no sign of female. We're hoping they will fledge in the morning but if they don't they may starve. Is there anything we can do?
