Hi everyone. On Friday the 9th April, 2021, at around 4:30 pm, I had the pleasure of seeing eight red kites together, flying above my garden. The most red kites I’ve ever seen from my garden is three. Perhaps due to it being the bird breeding season, there are more of them. Whatever the reason, it was a glorious sight to behold. Has anyone else seen this amount of red kites from their garden. Many thanks. Jeanette bird lover.

Yes, I live near Reading and there are masses of them around all the time. I think I counted thirteen on one occasion. Beautiful birds to watch. One of them sits atop a neighbours tree wanting me to throw out some scraps.
