Seen at Tyndrum (West Highlands) in 2019.
It looked big (raven?) but not black (so not raven?)!

Hey Mar, looks like a Hooded Crow to me, I saw some alongside Loch Linnhe a couple of years ago, striking bird :o)

Yes, agree with, PB. The two tone plumage is the giveaway. At one time it used to be regarded as a variant of the Carrion Crow but is now recognised as a separate species.

Yes, googled Hooded Crow and you're right!
- and it WAS impressive, and seemed to know it, as it was quite happy to hang around and pose for a photo!!
