Female pheasant in garden - slightly injured foot

Hello all,

2 days ago we had a female pheasant appear in our back garden - we are near the South Downs so not unreasonable to expect a visit from time to time of such a creature. She started off by wandering around and nibbling whatever she fancies and seemed pretty happy.

That night she popped off somewhere and then arrive back in the garden the next morning - yesterday she was behaving in a different way - she spent virtually whole day pacing back and forth around the conservatory and looking in and the occasional peck at the glass. She finally popped off again in the evening but came back again early this morning, but it looks like she has damaged a toe (claw?) and it leaving a spotting of blood as she again paces back and forth around the conservatory.

She looks to be in good shape otherwise and is able to move around freely.

Not sure if there is anything we need to do for her? Should we just leave her be and she will eventually wander off? I am a little wary of calling the RSPB hotline at the moment with all the restrictions in place and their reduced capacity being applied to other serious issues.

Also, on a related note, will pheasant blood just wash off porcelain floor tiles or will a cleaning solution be required?

Any advice is appreciated.
