Had 2 collard doves nesting in our garden near my son's window. Two days ago there was one egg. Yesterday there appeared a second egg. We were so excited.
Unfortunately today we found grey feathers and only one parent has been seen all day, on the nest.
We are so sad.
Can one parent hatch the eggs & raise it's young?
Any advise would be greatly received.
