Countryfile tonight "Snaring"

I don't know any details, but I see that Countryfile has a feature on snaring tonight (08 Dec) - covering the fact that even legal snares can cause suffering (which I'm only mentioning because they did in the trail).

    Just watched some of it Scylla, Amazing what some human beings attribute to animals, even apparently the fact that when they are trapped some animals understand that struggling will tighten the noose and lie still..........thusavoid a barbaric death.

    I am totally against any snaring and would carry a wire cutting pliers around with me if I were living in the area shown to have the "legal" traps.

    In certain conditions snare,set and checked,correctly are legal but in my opinion they are one of the most horrific ways of killing so called vermin.
